In Heart & Soul, Gabriele Baumann-Smith learns she inherited a cottage on the south shore of England. I needed a small enclosed seaside town for my story and found Emsworth by searching Google Earth.

Gabriele lives in one of these, next door to her not-so-friendly neighbor.
Gabriele spends a lot of time looking out onto this view, trying to figure out the mystery of her husband and his connection to the enigmatic man next door.
Several important scenes and introductions to new characters take place in a pub much like this one.
This is a very popular coffeeshop I use as a pattern for one where Gabriele meets up with her husband's old girlfriend.
There is a car chase scene that takes place in these streets.
